"the camaro and nova lowers will set it out more "

Which years of the Camaro and Nova A arms work? Do you have to use both the upper and lowers to keep everything aligned? Does the steering still reach or do you need to use longer tie rod ends?

I've read about using the Impala A arms to get better brakes. Are those A-arms also longer like the Camaro and Nova?

67-69 Camaro, 68-74 Nova lower A arms (same part) They are about 1.75" longer. New tie rod adjuster sleeves are available from the circle track suppliers, they are inexpensive. The uppers for these cars will not work, you will need the adjustable SPC arms.

Impala a arms won't work on a G body, you probably heard about the B body (impala, caprice) Spindle swap, it has 12" rotors and a larger caliper. The B spindle has a slightly different steering arm which causes problems with ackerman and bump steer. Better to go with S10 spindles and Howe balljoints to get the geometry you want.

What back space wheels do you have? Some skinnies come in either 1.75" b.s and 2.25" b.s.

I always run the 1.75" b.s. to keep the tires from being pulled too far under the car and they sit nice.

If mine came out any further, I'd risk the tire contacting the inner fender well when the front end comes down from the wheelie.

Wouldn't a proper spacer do the trick? How far do you need to go?

I run 205/75x15 and have one header outside the frame rail on each side.

I get the slightest rub at lock.

Just don't park the car with the wheel at full lock, hey what smells like burning rubber?

You can sue the Camero lowers with or without the spindle. If you do not use the spindle you have to use a different ball joint in the lower for it to fit the metric spindle. The best way to do it is to use the spindle and the lower cause it gives you better camber.
