Idea for fiberglass hoods

I've seen some look for ideas for their 'glass hoods, and I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of it sooner, but Fieros use a latching type hood strut on one side, that locks in 2 positions.

And adapted for the rear

Just thought I'd put it out there, it isn't spring loaded or anything.

My wife's 2000 Jeep Cherokee has a latch at each front corner.

Do you mean the actual hood latch? Yeah, those are weird, I have no idea why they thought it needed 2 latches to start with.

That's strange, he's still a very active member on PFF (Fiero.nl), it popped up through Google search and I just pasted the URL.

Maybe I'll just take a couple good pics of mine to share :lol:
