Leaking from the timing cover

I removed the timing cover and started clean up.

I put the new timing cover and balancer on today.

I got the new pan gasket on today. Hope to get it running tomorrow to check the leak situation.

There is a treaded hole to the passenger side of the timing cover that is used to hold the fuel pump rod in place to install the pump and its open to the crankcase - do you have it plugged ??

Thanks. I think so, but I'll check. The oil leak is in the center of the car. Does that hole leak to the inside of the block?

With the damper spinning it throws oil mist around and makes it look like the seal leaking.

Thanks that's good to learn. Mine is leaking from the pan gasket. I'm going to get a new one. Felpro warrants them.

So your bolt hole has a bolt in it or is plugged ?? Fel Pro one piece - have never had one leak and they are reusable.
