little stalling

Hey guys, I got a question on my new 80 MC it runs sweet a$$ but it is sometimes is a little hesittent at the stop light burnouts when i hit the gas it kinda stalls out but doesnt shut off or anything like that it just takes a second to catch but doesnt do it all the time. it has in it a 400 block,headers,light cam,edelbrock performer aluminum intake and a Holley 650. why is it doing that and how can i stop it from doing it? kinda vauge description of issues, but i would start by making sure the distributor isnt stuck advanced or something...

"Doesn't shut off", is it sputtering? If it's sitting parked and you flip the throttle quickly under the hood, what does it do?

revs up fine just when i am driveing i am gonna try within the next few days giving it a fresh tune up since it was sitting a year maybe that will i cl burned out the old gas

Yeah, give the fuel filter a check, if gas has been sitting it could be a cause.
