LSx, and mechanical linkage 4 speed?

Ive been tossing this idea around, like many other, for a while.

I'd like to retain my mechanical linkage, and my 4 speed, eventually a TKO

I assume this would require a special bellhousing, and possibly special flywheel?

Has anyone done this?

I would bet keeping mechanical linkage would limit my already small header choices..

I think a different bellhousing may be required, I don't know if LS motors are typically 153- or 168-tooth. Scoggin-Dickey has a bracket to keep the original location for mechanical linkage.
