questions on nitrous

My bu ran a best of 11.84. I was curious what it would run with a 100 shot. Would i need to retard the timing a degree or 2. Never ran nitrous was thinking of giving it a try any pros or cons. Thanx

A couple things come to mind.

1) Do you have enough RPM left at the traps to run another 5-6 hundred RPM more then you we,re?

2) I would limit total timing to 30-32 degrees to start with and check the plugs.

I had a 63 Chevy 2 that ran 11.85 on motor but would run 10.40's with a 150 shot.

100 shot properly tuned should get you at or near the 10 second bracket.
