rearend ?

I have a 79 Boo that i had a 12 bolt put in,Iam useing the 12 bolt uper conversion control arms. my ? is that when i measured the distance from the finder to the tire there was a quarter of a inch difference.The driver side tire is closer to the finder then the right.I had friend ride behind me and he said the car is tracking stright. Is this normal when you go from a 10 bolt to a 12..If not, is there Fix to solve the problem.

first is the difference front to back or side to side?......i had similar troubles,but i also used adjustable upper and lowers...................

If it's left-to-right, it's about normal. These cars had pretty low build quality...

1/4" is nothing. Like Tom said, the body could be shifted slightly, the rear may be cast slightly off.
