Can I run a 28.0/9.0 -15 slick tire on a 15x8 rim on the rear of my Malibu with enough clearance? The backspace is 4.0. Thanks casey

You should be fine I have a 28x9x15 slick on a 15X8 with 3.75 BS. I had a 10 in slick on it and it rubbed to much for my liking.

You can run this on a 3.5 backspace weld wheel, I ran this tire, it did stick out a little bit but not bad, would probably rub on the outside if the car was lower back then

would i just be better with 275/60/15 or 295/50/15 on 15x8 weld prostars.

im running a 295/50/15 on craiger ss's on my malibu and they rub slightly on the frame, im gonna either do a 1/2" frame notch or run 1/2" spacer and trim my frnder lip
