Suspension upgrades!?

Ok... I pulled apart the frame, got it mini tubbed, and dropped it off to be powder coated. (84 el camino)

WHAT SHOULD I UPGRADE?

Its about 600 HP with a GN 8.5" with 3.73's

I already bought...

Front
* 2" drop spindles
* stock spring height
* QA1 shcoks

Back
* Air shock delete
* QA1 Coil Over setup

and leave the rest stock... just add poly urathane bushings.

Now I am thinking of adding adjustable upper and lower control arms and some other things. What would you guys suggest I do that has proven performnace gains? This car will not see the track but maybe a few street races if that makes a difference.

Other than the control arms, nothing worth while on an actual street car other than a good rear sway bar. The HR Partsnstuff anti roll wouldn't hurt.

Cool... I was thinking the 900 dollar traling arms were a complete waste of time and money and the tubular framed other things were also a waste.

You can box your stock arms if you want to save a little money

OK... I bought upper and lower adjustable control arms and QA1 coil overs... hopefully that should do the trick.

Got any pics of the tubb job on your elky? Just curious how others were going about tubbing an ekly?

My 83 was mini-tubbed recently too
