... just not sure how soon exactly. It's done me well and has taken whatever I've thrown at it (~375hp/415lbft), but it's had a couple small hiccups almost the entire time I've owned it. Downshifting to 2nd from 3rd anywhere above 20mph or so it wants to crunch as it goes into gear (below that is fine, works good everywhere else, thinking a synchro ring may be worn), and years ago I somehow managed to break a tip or two off the reverse idler and the corresponding gear on the cluster shaft - very strange because when I think it happened, I had just started the car after work and simply didn't realize it was in gear. I let it out fast enough to stall the engine, but I didn't think it was anywhere near enough to cause any kind of damage. You can see the pics below it looks like it was rebuilt just before I got it, blocker rings, etc. look brand new. I'll have to replace the reverse idler along with the cluster, and knowing my luck the slider too... hoping to just have to do the 2nd locker/blocker, or maybe find some nice blocker rings and do all of them. Pics in the album are before I put it in the car - if I rebuild I'll likely have the entire case cleaned and paint it up nice.
