to rebuild or not to rebuild

I have recently purchased some new aluminum heads and have now wiped my second hydraulic flat tappet cam. Come to find out I have to remove the inner valve spring during break in. My question is, should I rebuild the motor because of all the metal shavings that have circulated through the motor? Or is there something I can flush it out with or something? thanks...

I would look at the bearings, especially if this is the 2nd cam.
