No, the A-Body and X-Body are different.

The 2wd s10 and 82-92 Camaro would work on a G-Body.

I guess that depends on brand, I know our G-Body arms are quite a bit less than our A-Body arms.

I didn't know 82-92 F-body arms would work. The GM part numbers & the shape are different.

Don't they have struts? i.e only a lower control arm & strut, no upper a-arm.

I'm guessing you are looking for those small weight savings? Speedway motors makes a cheap upper tubular control arm. I know the lowers are quite a bit though, and I guess that's what you are looking for.
