Comparing Lynch to anyone is kind of a joke. He has no budget, he races/tunes that car full time, and he's got more resources/crew than most professional teams do. Other turbo cars can't touch him, nevermind Procharger guys.

Very True! Lynch is in a class by himself, though others are finally starting to catch up like Futch, Shawver, Stavarinos, Carlos Z and several others. Futch has run within .02 of Lynch's best 1/8th I believe.

The compressor side of a turbo makes just as much heat as a supercharger! It is physics! When you compress air, heat is a byproduct of that compression. Turbos run intercoolers also if they are running any type of gasoline for fuel. The only boosted cars you will not see running an intercooler are cars that run Alcohol for fuel.

Some one was stating that prochargers dont create heat anytime you compress air your creating heat. and yes you must run an intercooler on a turbo unless your running alky

Anything boosted that is making huge power with gasoline for fuel needs an intercooler to make maximum power. A blow through carb will knock a little of the heat out of the air charge, but not enough when you really start leaning on them.

it all depends on how much boost you wanna run...and more boost doesn't always mean more power. i guy could safley get up to 1000 hp with a realy simple blow through system...and if a car would only weigh 3400 pounds....thats high 8's, low 9's if you can get the power down to the track...

a GT4088R can generate air temp upwards of 350-400* IAT before CAC/IC running full boost of 55-60psi

withthe excemption of alky... everything need a cac/ic or water/methanal mixture if not running a CAC.

if not your ehuast gas temps will go through the roof. talking 1800-2000*F or more.

I just remember how much power Will was able to gain with extra timing when he put the intercooler on his car, then he upped the boost more and picked up even more power.

But you don't need those kind of boost number, unless diesel or honda, for good power.
