I am looking to take some weight off since I cant afford a larger motor. How much weight can be loss with tubular control arms on the front and how much with switching to rack and pinion?
Our A-arms drop 30 - 32 lbs for the complete set (along w/ upgrading the geometry and giving 6 - 7 degrees of pos. caster) and our rack / pinion kit drops between 32 and 45 lbs (depending on the steering box that was being used). http://www.trzmotorsports.com - look under the 78 - 88 G-body section.
