What backspace wheel with my 8.8?

I finally am gonna have the $ to get my 8.8 rear out of a Lincoln Mark 7 installed and I'm worried about the wheels fitting.
From what I have found in a search the factory rear in my 81 Camino is 58" outside to outside of the drums. Is this right? I measured the 8.8 and it's 61 1/2" from the where the lugs go into the rotor to the same on the other side.
I have 7" ralley wheels now and I was wanting to go to 8 inch wide in the rear with the dual lug pattern on them. I'm wanting to run p235 R 60s. What back space should I get? Is this gonna work without them hanging out of the wheel wells? From what I read at summit I can only get a 4.5 inch backspace on an 8 inch wheel.
I plan on using some load leveler springs cause I use my Camino as a truck.
Thank you for any help. Later Josh.

PS Maybe I should just get the 15 X 10s and run some n-50s if they're gonna stick out anyway. :)
