Well, today, I found this:
4 bolt main, steel crank, GM Goodwrench crate 454 from a one ton or bigger truck. $380 before some time at the carwash. The pics I don't have tonight, but did accomplish, was to swap on a car oil pan with a snazzy one-piece pan gasket, new oil pump & pick up too, and a used RPM intake. I touched up the black paint and set it in the orange car. I already have a TH350 w/shift kit and a small stall...
Just hope its decent enough to motivate the car for a little bit!!?!
It started raining, if it lets up, I'll stab the trans and headers for some pics!

NOT BAD! NOT BAD AT ALL!! GOOD LUCK WITH THE MOTOR!!!
Installed the cleaned air filters and re-built the carb, went down 50lbs in rear spring rate, installed an Auburn Pro series diff, Speedway tubular front uppers along with summit 1" longer ball joints, pulled the trans,clutch,flywheel to make ready for a new twin disc in a few weeks.

As far as what i got done this weekend, i got the drivers side close for primer. Need a color choice yet.
Lets see, burned out mallory ignition box, lost fuel pressure, found new oil leak, and get to pull transmission.Yea for me.
finished/tested and ran my dual T/A WS6 fan set up,,,came out great and cools even better! Couple of pics for you all.... :lol: :lol:
