I was having problems with air not moving through the dashboard vents. The vacuum lines weren't put in the right places and I didn't have any vacuum source hooked to the ball on the passenger side, front fender. I worked that out now have air flow through the vents in the center of the dashboard.

I have some transmission fluid on the floor, so I tighten up the pan bolts, they seemed a little loose. I'll check it tomorrow and see if it works.

I connected 1 wire I needed to for the electronic cruise control system. The car started very nice and easy. I checked for transmission leaks a d didn't find any. I checked the transmission fluid and it was full. That made it a good day.

I put conduit on the cruise control wires and tied them to the steering, with wire ties. This is a temporary situation, I hope I can shorten these wires.

I took the 78 El Camino down town to gas it up. The speedometer didn't work, so l need to take it apart and find the problem. I planned to check out my cruise control, but that'll have to wait until I solve this problem.

I repainted the tailgate on my 78 El Camino, with John Deere Blitz Black. My friends pushed it with a four wheeler when they helped out the transmission in it. When I tried doing it last fall, it stayed flat instead of satin. I'll have to see how it works this time.

I bought a new battery charger and trying to charge the battery on my 78 El Camino. The old charger read out that it was charged but car wouldn't turn over at all. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to tell if it works.
