After charging it the 78 started without out any issues. I turned on the torque converter switch with no charge on the amp gauge. Then I shut it off and turned on them cruise control switch, with the same results. I then switched both on at the same time, with the same results.
I'm not sure what area to check out.

I started up the 78 Elk again today. It ran excellent. I hope to get it back on the road, this next week. I want to see if the cruise control and the lockup torque converter switch work now.

I started up the 78 Elk again today and it ran great. I can't get it on the road, due to there's too many cars around here. I'm part of the problem due to the fact we have 5 cars of our own.

I started up the 78 Elk again today. It ran great, but hade a problem show up on the voltage meter. The meter read 13 volts when it started then dropped to 9 volts, then jumped back to 13 Volts. It did this twice, then went back to 13 volts and stayed there. I had the battery on a trickle charger, since the dead battery incident. No switches were on. I tried some switches and it stayed at 13 volts the whole time.
