Put the right serpertine belt on (water pump is spinning the right way now)...Boltd down the steering column, Put my horn button on, sill plates are on...Gonna go do some work in a little bit.

I've started thinking of finding a TBI El Camino harness and going with an EBL setup on the '78. I'll have to get another 454 TBI unit for that though, which is probably one of the more difficult to find pieces of any of it (besides the harness) 
Installed newer and not as worn out as mine #-o door hinge assy's as well as new door pins and striker bolt just need a new latch assy and my door will be like new again. Door hinges have been shot for about 6 years now and too lazy to replace the hinge assemblies(but it takes more effort to lift my door every time I want to shut it, but a friend was wrecking his malibu so I took them. Just need to get my new window motors and switches and it will all be new again, should have grabbed those before they went to the wrecker we just changed them a year ago.
Spent 4 hours last night detailing under my hood for the show this weekend, now tonight is under the rear of the Elk
I used one from a C/K truck, and just pulled the wires I didn't need. Finally posted pics of it in the Gallery. Going back out, to work on patching the floor in it, in about an hour.
That thur sounds like a good ideer! Engine is in!!!!!!
Just have to adjust valves and raise it up on the rack and do the under car stuff.
With new billet timing chain.( broke chains couse alot of damage, ask me how I know)

Made my deep transmission pan today. I had to also weld some holes shut in a bracket for my relays and EST box. Pics are gonna be in my thread.
