Mounted the new wheels and tires! They BARELY fit on there, about a pinky's width between the tire and fender lip on a good day, but clear the frame by a mile now. I was losing over 3/4" of tread per tire with the 8" wheels!

I'VE BEEN TAKING IT OUT FOR THE PAST 2 DAYS (1 DAY RAIN, OTHER SUNNY) AND STOMPED ON THE GAS JUST HAVING FUN!! TOMORROW ON THE OTHER HAND.........
Finally installed my wideband. She is rich as hell. I need to figure out how to lean out light throttle cruise fueling on a GM Quadrabog carb.
I'm sure it's possible with them, they're definitely better for mileage than your typical Holley or Edelbrock.

I got the car to idle more at 15-16 AFR instead of 11-12. But now anytime I give is very light throttle, mostly cruising throttle, it richens up to around 10-11 AFR.

Get a different set of primary rods maybe, there are different sizes, you have to take the air horn off thought to even see what ones you have. Could try some smaller jets too. Many moons ago before I injected all my cars, I ran nothing but Q-jets, I took apart over 50 carbs for all the rods and hangers. And BTW, good move on the WB, I won't tune anything without one now.
got my driveshaft back, and installed it. also drilled out the snapped bolts holding my hood on and re-tapped them. im just waiting to bring the car to the exhaust shop then i can drive it!
Met up with appsk8r and took the Bu's to a cruise-in. Came accross a beautiful 81 2dr Bu, a beautiful 79 Hurst Olds, and a beautiful GP 2+2!
Moved the Bu' out of the garage to do a brake job on a 2002 Caravan...... Woo Hoo dancin_banana.gif
