Started on my first stand alone harness lastnight. Was excited at first but got overwhelmed quickly. Think i got in alittle over may head this time. A few splices and a little bit of tape and it should be ready to install. I hope.

Installed bucket seat mounts than installed the factory bucket seats.finally no bench seat. Now just have to install console,b&m shifter , column for floor shift.
pushed it out of the garage to run new brake lines in the gfs truck..and ordered some stuff from work to get it running
Did a test fit on my vortec harness before i taped it up. I hooked the battery up and discovered the monte had a car alarm...
pulled distributor, primed oil pump, and fired her up. i also got yelled by at by wife for making the house smell like race gas. mmmmmmmmm.....
just order my turbo 350 rebuild kit hope to do trans sunday if kit comes in trans man will do it asap will not need it for 2 mos here in mich. i have 2 ft of snow on ground but want to get things rebuilt to put togher when snow is gone got engine parts to machine shop so when spring gets here fresh 455 pontiac and 350 trans to go in gp
I took it to the transmission shop to be resealed! 275 bucks for all gaskets new fluid and filter with labor on the 2oo 4r. Not a bad deal in my book.
