What did U do to your G-body today??

Took it on a road trip yesterday to NY while there changed the front tires from the 28" mickey thompsons to a 26" 165/80 tires that my friend had at his shop then drove to a car show. Car feels a lot better with these on.

Rebuilt the alternator today, so much cheaper than buying a so called rebuilt one. Most places sell rebuilts and all they do is clean up the cases and replace the part that is bad and put it on the shelf to sell to auto parts distributor. Napa, Auto Zone and Advance do this practice by the way! Cost me $12.00 compared to $123.00 for 100 amp NEW.

I unsuccessfully installed a 8.5 rear in the Monte. Figured out I still need brake backing plates.

a set 99 monte doors.gm did use them on alot of other models though.buicks/vettes etc.its a fairly common handle in the early 00's.

Finally after 3 months of headlight problems, decided to take a look at the dimmer switch. Found that it was only partially plugged in. Installed he new switch that I had purchased. It's just dumb that it was something so silly.
