9 dollar spectacular luck at two junk yards today. The first score for three bucks (tool rental) was a wiper motor. Dont know if it works but hey the price is right. I also picked up a elcheapo cup holder and a cigarette lighter in nice shape. Second score is electric trunk popper, full wiring only cut in two spots, the button (no bracket) and a trunk light all from a Oldsmobile 88. This time it was 6 bucks, one for the tool rental fee and 5 to the yard for the parts.

In fact there is no tool rental fee but I know the guys at each and its my way of tipping them for what I was otherwise not prepared for. it sure helps when you know the owners of the yards, they let me have free range in the yard, loan me tools and allow me to name my price on most of the stuff I take!

Oh yeah, I also got two of the hold down screws for the factory jack.

A cheap 83 Regal with grey interior popped up the other day that I wanted.
