Just got a LQ4 2003 6.0 LS with 90k on it..OOHHHHH YYYYAAAAA. Will go into my 78, maybe next winter these thing are not cheap to build up. The plans are a nice intake, big cam, stand alone with a th400, and full headers.

Should be fun learning these new engines

Ruined the stocker this weekend... :lol: [-X

After some trading...got a set of used DJM 3" drop arms and 84 ttype springs (f41). Left the front springs alone, trimmed a coil off the back resulted in a 1.75/1.25 drop...and bumpsteer haha.

Couple of wagons fill up the small building pretty quickly. Not a lot to see right now, but I think I found a donor for the B pillars and quarter inners.

First test fit

A few (de)construction notes:

Sheet steel used is WAY thicker than the stuff I cut off daily from newer cars at work, but is much softer

Coupe door needs minor tweaking at A pillar notch, it's about .5" shorter than the sedan/wagon and rubs the pillar.

Thats going to look awesome! What are you going to do with the door glass and B pillar? Move the B pillar and use El Camino door glass or tilt the pillar and use 2dr glass?

I had this same idea in my head, but don't have the talent or money to pull it off. Look forward to seeing the outcome.
