Hey, I have 215/65/15`s on the front my cars with a 7 inch rim. On the rear I run 295/50/15`s with a 8 inch rim, 245/60/15 on a 8 inch rim and 245/60/15 on a 7 inch rim. So I would go with a 7 on the front and a 8 on the back. Doug

6" to 8.5" for the 235.....
7" to 9.5" for the 275....

tirerack.com, type in what size tire and click on SPECS and it will give you a range recommended by manufacturer.

What about backspacing? The rim I want only comes in 4.5. Backspacing I plan on running the same tire combo. Will I have enough clearance? 15x8 rim front and rear

For the front you should be safe, for the rear you might need a 1/4" or so spacer to keep from rubbing on the frame rail IF your frame and wheelwells are factory. It might also benefit you on the rear to roll the lip on the inner wheel opening so it doesn't slice up a tire in any uneven surfaces while driving.
