I had a 235 on there at one time, but I believ that, since I was using v6 springs at the time, when the car would drop over a bump, the inner fender wells would rub and eventually started to look like they could cut a hole if they hit hard enough at the right speed. Now I'm running a 205-60-15 and they seem so "economy car-ish" on my 8" rims. I think with my current v8 springs and the right shocks, even though I am putting 2" drop spindles on, I should have enough rigidity to keep the inner fender from rubbing again.
Isn't there a tool out there where you can check to see what the right size tire is for your car? Backspacing and diameter and such?
