    7.5 question

I know they're not as cheap, but I'm running a Powertrax No-Slip Locker for my 7.5"... I love it, under power, it's like a solid axle, but when you turn, it just disengages, takes a little getting used to, but I wouldn't want to mess with a Posi unit... I hear the clutches can where out over...

    621 Bell and Fork?

I guess if I ever wanted to go to an 11" clutch, I could just go aftermarket with a Lakewood... If I ever needed to go with an 11" clutch, I would probably need to upgrade that stuff anyways... Just thinking, trying to make life easier for us g-body guys... cause if you could just get an...

    621 Bell and Fork?

Could the geometry of the fork pushrod be altered to fit the location of the fork on a 621 bell and fork? Or does the higher location of the fork interfere with the firewall and transmission tunnel?

    new transmission tunnel humps?

So you're saying that the 70-81 F-body hump will fit the 78-87 g-body tunnels? Cause that would be awesome.

Thanks for the heads up on the bearing. Does Keisler have a specific one they recommend or sell themselves? What do they run, so I can put it on the list? What do you guys get for the crossmember? The shifter for the Chevy II looks identical to the one MeatDrapes has on his G-body...

    new transmission tunnel humps?

Anyone ever tried a 70-81 F-body metal shifter hump? Like this one? http://www.keislerauto.com/index.php?/manual-transmission-tunnel-hump-for-1970-81-camaro-firebird.html It looks very similar to a g-body one, anybody think it will fit? It's not too badly priced for a brand new one.

Ya, that would help out a lot... anything you can get me would help. I am checking with Keisler about the shifter humps, but haven't had very good luck with them and g-body parts. I am trying to see how well this hump will fit...

I have always been scared of disturbing the oil pan gasket when trying this. How does this pan out? Any leaks?

Here's a question, and I know I should know this by now, but I've never had to deal with it before... When pulling just the transmission without the engine, how do you keep the engine from tipping backward and screwing up the distributor? Can I use something to control the tip of the engine...

so pretty much just be nice to your roller when putting the shaft in. I figure there must be some good resons that maufacturers continue to make them and supply them with such a bold price tag for a small bearing. MD: I noticed you have put the transmission in a couple different ways pertaining...

Hotrod to Hell's Truck Arm Suspension

Re: Hotrod to ####'s Truck Arm Suspension Hey, thanks for that input. The three link would be an interesting experiemntal setup. And I totally agree, a car that is comfortable at 100+ MPH really can make or break the choice for the suspension. What do you all think about a complimentary...

Hey thanks for the pilot bushing info... that is true, when you wipe out a roller, they take everything else out with them... I don't figure there is any power loss or durability issues with the non roller, since they've been used for decades and still using them... Hey, tell your friends about...

Ok, so I've been planning my self to death trying to get ready to do one of the most major modifications to my Cutlass yet. The TH-350 to TKO-600 swap. I've been organizing parts lists and contacts for almost everything to be able to do it with almost all bolt in pieces and hardly any...

    G-machine handling parts ?'s

who all has or is running HTH's (Hotrod to Hell) Truck arm suspension on any vehicle? Is it worth the 2 grand for just a rear susupension? I have heard nothing but amazing reviews about this suspension and think it does exactly what I want my suspension to do... fully adjustable height...

What do all y'alls do to make your cars handle really well? I know the basic control arms are a good idea... but what shock arrangement and spring setup wold be good for cornering as well as drag racing? Are coil-overs worth it? What parts are good for cornering without sacrificing too much...

So I talked with Iceman Racing, and gave them a dimension sheet on the TKO transmissions and he said they'd make me one for the same $149 that the others cost. Just FYI for any of you out there wondering.

    G-machine handling parts ?'s

I have been looking in to this kit for a long time now and think it to be the most complete kit for the money. It's the Stage IV for the G-body. http://www.performancesuspension.com/g-machine-performance-suspension-kit.html I have been looking into other pieces recently and have started...

ya, I picked that schematic sheet up myself, but his shifter, according to his pictures, is in a different spot... it's, I think, about another 3/4" to 1" forward than the off the shelf shifter at 16.75".
