    Gallery of seats

I believe one of the girls that was on here, her boyfriend (whose Malibu was stolen) had one of those high-back late model S10 seats. It sat real high in the car, but I think it was using the S10 brackets. If it had G-Body brackets it would probably be ok... I test fit the seats in mine with...

    Lets see some engine pics

GBodyParts.com sells some I believe, but they're like $85+. I think I've seen a couple other people that sell them too.

    Tremec TKO 600

Cool :D I like it. I did a little looking, had to do a double take because I know I hadn't seen this, or asked about it  $1400 for just the trans (likely just the RS400, probably +$700 for the RS600) is very tempting...

    lug nuts for spare

Sounds like what you need is the proper nut for the wheel (probably regular acorns), and a set of nuts for the front and rear.

    4-Speed Shifter Distance

Yup, The Gearbox, same one... I couldn't remember the name.

    4-Speed Shifter Distance

The one I looked at was from a company in MI, and from what I understood a standard pilot could be used with the LS1 input shaft.

    4-Speed Shifter Distance

I had a feeling that was the case. Personally I'd just use a T56 with an LS1 input shaft, standard 26-spline clutch and an adapter plate, then you could use the stock G-Body linkage.

    4-Speed Shifter Distance

What's so special? I would think a standard flywheel would be ok... is this for use with the T56 bellhousing?

    Help me pick a combo

I guess that would be another thing to look at is budget. The Vortecs are a good design, and if everything is basically new you could probably get a decent penny for the stock Vortecs, and upgrade to a set of Bowtie Vortecs, they have a 185cc intake compared to the stock 170cc which is a little...

    4-Speed Shifter Distance

Why the added cost of the 2-pc. rms flywheel?

    Help me pick a combo

Being a 383 I think the hot cam will be almost a perfect match. I (and a few others) are running a Comp XE268H cam with Vortecs on a 350, and it does quite well for fun driving. You didn't say what stall your converter is, but you likely won't need much, maybe 2000 with the 268. You would...

    Gauge Pics

I'm partial to analog gauges myself. If I get an A/F gauge I might get a digital gauge though.

Here's my G-body manual trans hydraulic setup...Lots of pics

Re: Here's my G-body manual trans hydraulic setup...Lots of Good lookin' car :D I really like the looks of your setup... the stop, how the master is right next to the brake master, etc. :D Too bad it won't work for those of us with vacuum-assist brakes  I take it you've been driving...

    305 Dying

Hmmm.... do you have a dust shield around the converter?

    305 Dying

That sounds too fast to be an exhaust leak. Have you tried unbolting the torque converter and eliminating that from the equation? Like fhc said there's a chance it could be the flexplate, though I've never heard a cracked one before... it's a free check shrug.gif
