Re: HVAC Door Foam If it's what I'm thinking, that's way too thick. The foam he needs is closer to about 3/16" wide and thick... The foam for truck caps is more along the lines of 2-3" wide and probably 1/2" thick.

Yeah, keep with it... I was starting to feel it too with mine, but then I drove it around some the past few days... found more stuff I have to work on (i.e. worn out outer tie rod), but remembering how much fun it is to drive helps with the motivation :D

Maybe it's an early G-Body thing. I've actually been driving mine, and loving it. I aligned it today too... couldn't get the passenger side to straighten out as much as I'd hoped, but I got everything pretty dang close... also found out I need an outer tie rod end on the right side :x

Yup, my '78 has that, found that when I tore mine down and was all confused. It's waaaay up just below the top of the dash, almost right next to the driver side speaker.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to flush the old fluid out if you haven't, all that junk that can come off the brake lines, calipers, etc. Are the S10 calipers new? With the wheels on, are any of them difficult to turn? They should have some resistance, enough to where they come to a stop eventually...
