LSx to non t56 manual trans???

If you have an LS-specific one. I haven't done any research, but with all the other things out for LS motors, I see no reason why there isn't one (or 5) already being produced. I'll do some lookin', got some free time :D One link I've found so far...

LSx to non t56 manual trans???

For the flywheel/pilot I would get one for running any other pre-LS manual, and get the correct size clutch for the LT1 trans. Thought about this myself in the past. I may just look for whichever I can find at the best price when I actually have the money, and get the appropriate flywheel, etc.

    Nova wheel = Malibu/Elky wheel?

    http://wheelvintiques.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/page21.html They only have 14x6 though, I wouldn't mind getting a set in 16x8, or even 15x8 :?

    rally wheel pics

Then why did the 454SS truck get the 275/60 + 15x7 treatment? BTW I'd probably run a 255 on a 7-8" wheel myself. 255/25.4=10" tread width 277/25.4=10.8" tread width

    DRUM TO DISK CONVERSION

http://www.speedwaymotors.com It's where I'm thinking about going for my swap. They make the brackets and provide calipers/rotors (early '80s Seville), with or without parking brake brackets.

What mounts to run on an lsx conversion..?

Ok, thanks. Did you get a set with slots in it allowing you to move the engine forward/back slightly? The ones I'm looking at have them, and I'm wondering if I can get away with doing that and not welding.

    LS Accessory drive

I couldn't actually find one for sale, they listed it with an item (LS1 S10 swap mounts). You'll probably have to e-mail them to get info X2, probably only a couple inches shorter, I was shocked how much of a difference a slightly shorter belt made on the position of the tensioner.

    LS Accessory drive

What has everyone used on their LSx swap? I read of interference issues with Phil's truck motor swap (and of the 2.8 pulley swap). I was cruising eBay and found a seller (via looking for swap mounts) and they said they also carry (I don't know if they actually make them) accessory drive setups...

What mounts to run on an lsx conversion..?

Did you have to drill, or were there holes that lined up? Also, did you have enough clearance for all the pulleys? If so I might go this route :)

What mounts to run on an lsx conversion..?

I was wondering about the S10 pads myself (I'm guessing 2.8 mounts?)... how low does the pan hang? Where does the trans sit in relation to stock?

    5.3 HP estimation?

LQ4 was the non-performance version in the 3/4 ton/1 ton trucks & whatnot. The LQ9 was in the SS, Escalade, etc.

    5.3 HP estimation?

Well, that graph was with the aftermarket cam, the only reason I said slightly milder. It is a nice torque curve
