Need some opinions for my daughter's daily ride.
Looking for a moderatly priced tire for her 03 Stratus.
205-60-16.
Snow and ice is not an issue here!
Quiet car, looking for quiet ride and some tread mileage.
Let me know what you know.
Thanks,

I dug out a book I've had around for a long time. Anyone interested in the 3.8 as a carburated model should own one. It was written by John Thawley with a LOT of stuff from the early factory supported IMSA development by Smokey Yunick.
It's the only reason I still consider building a 3.8. That...
Not an endorsement but just some information I bookmarked a while back. This type of product is used daily in the bodyshop world and is an alternative for welding thin metals. You can also search the site for products used for many types of plastic panels...

Found this a while back. GM parts for GM cars. Allows the threaded lug covers on standard lug nuts.

Looking to make it a 4bbl and I have one of those old Holley econo spread bore carbs that I could rebuild and stick on this. Anyone know the cfm of this thing?

I posted a similar question in Driveline. Just another day in the life.
It's pushing trans fluid up and out of the transmission dipstick tube!
Easy drive down the road to enjoy the day and it's doing it in less than 1/3 of a mile.
Man that stuff smokes a bunch burning off the headers...
It started pushing fluid out of the dipstick tube. Easy driving. Just went down the road a bit to warm it up.
Threw it all over the engine and headers.
Why? :-k

With a lot of gearheads(myself included) looking for an inexpensive way to preserve their rides until the pocketbook catches up to the costs of paint, John Deere "Blitz Black" is a great alternative. My brother shot it on his son's 56 ford 1/2 ton and it looked pretty good. It also is paint, not...
Can we make this a sticky? It seems I post it at least 20 times a year. Not an endorsment, just a reminder for bumper fillers and other needs for 2drs,4drs, wagons and cars of several makes.
NOTE: Wagons and El Camino rear corner fillers are NOT the same.
They are also NOT interchangable with...
There are a couple of good machine shops around that can do this. I want to widen a pair of 15x7 pontiac rally II's that I have to 15x8-9-10. I know they're available aftermarket but I'm always lookin' to save a buck or two. Has anyone had this done and can give me what would be a fair price...
Sorry if this posts twice. Computer glitch I think. Anyway, is there a stock type 15x8 wheel that will bolt up? Not a rally but an old school regular type wheel that I could run the small type cap on. Junkyards are my required speciality.
Thanks
