if fixing the block issue only netted you a 10.90,, then again as i said previously your motor isn't making the power you stated ,as with the 3150 weight your off by over .8-.9 tenths running claiming 575-590 hp..My program is showing your making roughly 435 hp at the crankshaft...

same motor new block doesnt make more hp actually it put more weight on the car as for your hp quote your completely wrong and dont have the dyno sheet that i have 590 horse is not a 10.3 show me a car with this weight doing that........................ also hp does not matter what matters is the car runs 125mph this shows the 60 foot is off thus the car is not running the proper time around 10.6 or 10.7 trap speed tells what a car should be running it doesnt matter if my car has 300 horse who cares and your point is what!!!!!!!!!!

the video sounds like it bogs after the intial hit.is fuel sloshing from the primary vent into the venturi?

BINGO!!!

My car exhibited the same symptoms. It would leave hard, then with the front end up, it would bog and drop the tires, then pick up. I have a data logger and I noticed on the wide band AFR, it would go rich at one point just off the line, then lean back out to the normal AFR and continue.

When it went rich, it lost power and couldn't keep the front end up. I put a simple 50 cent piece of clear vinyl tubing connecting the vent tubes with an oval hole cut in the peak. The car picked up .07 in 60' as I recall.

Wouldn't hurt to check the float level to make sure it isn't on the verge of being high...or even fuel pressure being too high.

My point is just that,,your motor can't or isn't making 590 HP,, for the same reason you pointed out exactly,,your only turning 125 maybe e.t. slip would be nice to see.. ;)

Please help me out here I have a 78 lemans, 575 horse the car hooks hard off the line then seems to fall hard!

But yet here you state 575 hp..???

Horsepower is a perfect way to show the reflection of ones motor and the horsepwoer it's making as you can run a slower 60 ft. and still pull good MPH on the big end which you are not doing period at your weight of 3150 lbs... Also if you have a dyno sheet proving the horsepower than it was a "loose" or "happy dyno" session.... ;) ;)

Not trying to make anyone mad but pointing out a fact that can be seen everyday at the track.. ;)

Mine made 587 on a known accurate dyno. Runs 10 teens at 132. Just giving you a baseline for what it's worth. My guess is your dyno was very generous or you have a problem somewhere else in your combination, such as converter, etc. Lee

Got the car to 1.48 60 ft. Kind of cheated and took a ton of weight off the car, added new front coilovers, new control arms. Took doors off car and trunk, removed bumpers and moved the battery to the back finally. Ran a 10.3 last week hopefully try to get the car to a 10.0, I still need to tweak the 60ft. I would like to get it to a 1.40
