could i use a spacer???

hey guys i got a lil prob. wit the 'bu... i bought some drag lites off a guy with an 80 camaro i believe i thought that he said that they were 4.5 back spacing in the rear but i think there 4in could i use a .5in back spacing on it because its hitting the rear frame the fronts im not worried about beacuse there skinnies..

Wouldn't a 4" backspace put them .5" further away from the frame than 4.5" would?

The draglites are probably 4.5". Yes, you can use a spacer with them to move it out that 1/2". I did that before the frame notch.

well i guess i really dont know the back spacing then there barly touchin the frame but enough to make it rub so i think i only need .5 to move it away.... hey supe how hard was it to do the frame notch i was hearing somethin bout that
