Here is what I will be running. I bought these for my Drag Bug but now they will be going on the Malibu with a rear tire change (Too Short Of Tire) 15x3 1/2 and 15x10 4 1/2 back spacing 8)

Anybody running the 29.5''x10.5'' mt ''s'' slicks on a 10'' wide rim and standard axle width? I have an 83 monte with notched frame and mini tub, just need to know what backspacing and what did it take for you to fit it

I had them on my Malibu with a 5 1/2" backspace.Only thing was on a Malibu they were very close(1/4") to the front bottom edge of the wheel well.Might not be a problem on a monte.Hope this helps,Art

Yes that helps, if its close on mine I can trim it and massage it to work, so I need a 15''x10'' rim with a 5 1/2'' backspace? Also how much clearence do you have from tire to frame rail and also tire to fender clearence? Just wondering as I might go with the 10.5'' ''w'' wide tire

17x9 / 275-45-17 nitto 555r rear
What is the best way to roll the lip with minimum damage?

Good news, the rims and tires made it to the house. I can't wait to get back and mount these with my fresh two tone paint job and the fresh 383... \:D/ dancin_banana.gif

any pics of these mounted on the car yet?

damn, that looks pretty good. Got any more close up pics of it, shots from the rear, etc. Do you have room to lower it any at all?

hey thanks,i can take a few shots tomorrow for ya..
the rear is lowered 1.5" but the 18s make it look stock height... ride height is almost level front to back.
also the tire is roughly 5mm from frame and does rub a bit on turns, when i instal the 12bolt that problem will fix itself......it rides nice on the highway and around corners need to instal my z28 sway bar up front and do energy suspension everywhere
