Is it the UCA or the Spring???

I need some help y’all, I’m building a bracket car for the wife and I’ve run into an interesting situation. Long story short, the new springs have pushed the car to the stops on the UCA. I’ve tried two different sets Moroso “Trick Springs” currently on the 47130 spring. This is the lightest spring Moroso sells for our cars and it’s still on the upper stops with the motor (iron headed SBC) installed (see pics). Too many folks run this spring for it to be the issue (I think…). So now I wonder about the design of the Summit brand UCA? When my buddy and I (400lbs total) stand on the frame horns I only get about 1” of drop. I won’t be adding that much back to the car in sheet metal, WTH??? Here is the current configuration with links to the parts being used, any help / recommendations would be much appreciated

Do the upper arms have stock style rubber bushings? If so, did you torque the a arm shaft nuts with the car on jack stands? That will mess up the ride height...
