I haven't done them myself for a long time but what I did was take a piece of pipe bigger id and longer then the bushing itself and weld a heavy washer across one end use a long piece of 1/2" all thread through it and the bushing tighten the nut and it will act as a press. hope this helps. oh yea put a little grease around the bushing and in the hole.

To get the old ones out I sprayed them down with PB Blaster's and let them sut a few min. The knocked them right out with a 5lb hammer. I then used a flap wheel on my die grinder and cleaned up the inner race for the bushing. Used a square piece of a 2x4(yes wood) and the same hammer and they went right in. Now my rear end was on the ground out of the car so it was relatively easy to do. In the car could def be alot more difficult. I also have heard of people using a ball joint press to do it.
