I kinda thought about that myself, just going with semi-flat instead of the natural aluminum finish.

Yeah, I guess you could say its tubbed. I've got about 2.5" of extra clearance now for the 245 tires and Z06 rims. I can lower the car a bit more with the coil overs for autoX without rubbing.

pretty cool, but man that looks like a lot of work for 2.5"

not in yet, just waiting for some paint, then its in!! 355 with JE forged pistons, forged bottom end, ported edelbrock heads, crane 1.6 gold race rockers, performer RPM air gap intake. i am going to be adding some nitrous too, not that big of a hit though.
