I used the painless GM keyed 21 circuit harness part 10101. I do have a vent dead center. 2 More gauges will be there. Vacuum and nitrous pressure. The iron heads that are getting removed are the Merlin Oval port w/269cc intake runners. They were bowl blended. I think the springs are 180/420 and good to .650 lift. I never revved the car past 6200 so springs are light. Heads are HEAVY!!!malibu795 said:Got the part number for the painless harness? My wagon needs rewired bad!
Like what you did with the dash cluster. Did you have the vent to the imediate left?
Any info on the iron head you swapped out? I'm still running stock might be interested
What did you go with for camshaft FT or HR?
I have not done anything with the Painless harness yet other than lay it out. And the fit against the factory firewall hole is a good question. I am not certain how I want to deal with that. Thought about using the original pass through and rewiring it.malibu795 said:I got an iron headed 468 BBC with 049 in my wagon.. im familiar with their weight lol.
Honestly been looking at buying said set. You be interested in selling them?
How'd the harness fit the factory firewall hole?
