I hear ya. I'm in the same boat so don't feel bad.. mineis still 4' in the with the new chassis sitting next to it LOL

496 is done. Reused cam from 454. 231/[email protected] .050 with 600 lift on a 111 LSA. Going to try the Slick Speed Monte clutch setup. The Bdzel pedal effort was destroying the firewall. New brake lines. All kinds of new stuff. Just makes for a slow build.

The Slick Speed uses a stock pedal with a new master angle that bolts up behind the brake booster. I was thinking of going with the Sick Speed part, but I'm told the master will not clear 2241 headers...

I hope that is not true cuz I have 2241s. That never occurred to me.

Bernie replied back and said the 2241s will not clear the universal master without modifying the primary tube that wraps around the steering column. He sent me pics of what someone else did, but since photobucket went crap, I can't post them.
How was your header clearance with the Bzdel pedal and the F body master cylinder? I have the McLeod 139001 original version. I guess I'll just make a firewall reinforcing plate for the master cylinder.

I had no issues with the Bdzel pedal with any configuration. And I also used a firewall reinforcing plate. Mine was not large enough. Over do the plate. Spread the pedal load. Ill beat that tube flat to make this work. I will NOT take no or 80lb pedal effort for an answer. Im stubborn
