Do you happen to have anything spliced into the power wire for the msd or going to the dizzy?

The heavy red power wire for the MSD i have running straight to the battery on a post of its own. The regular red wire i have going to the factory 12 volt source that was hooked to my dizzy and that isnt spliced to my knowledge

OK well I got my new Cap and rotor and it didnt solve anyhting. So I guess i will pull off each wire one by one and ohm them out again to make sure i didnt miss something. if that checks out then i will remove the MSD and see what happens

You can pull plug wires off while the car is running and see what cylinders are not firing
If the cylinder is dead and you pull the wire off there should be no change in the idle

or you can get a ignition spark checker to see what is firing and what is not.

Anything Accel is junk in my book.

So you may want to change your plugs and see what happens before taking anything apart.

Also if you need the shorty plugs because of the headers

Try Autolite AR series.

try taking the pill out, even check the boots. I noticed with mine with the big msd boots it gets close to the headers and almost touches on a couple. Fire it up at night to see if you see any sparks.

by Pill you are talking about the MSD I assume?

I didn't think the digital boxes used pills. Thought they had a small dial that you turn to adjust the rev limiter.
