Pulled my headliner and recovered it since the previous owner decided to spray paint it and then pulled my dash in preparation for installing the new cover.

Took and rebuilt my speedometer and got a new odometer to put in. I could have gotten new instrumant panel altogether but mine is emaculate. I even found an original clock in the El Camino that I got the speedo out of, took a chance on it working and it does it was free. Spent 30 dollars for new speedo and odometer.

The Junk yard I went to today had three differant Monte instramant panels everything there and two Pontiac Dashes with alot of gauges. The yard has some good g-body stuff.

Tonight I finished pulling the factory climate control system in preparation for mounting the new Vintage Air heat/defrost unit. All the clamps got removed from the dash cover after 24 hours of cure time and I then sprayed the jams with SEM Landau Black since they were baby blue at one point in time.

They all do that above the cadilc converter area, because of the heating up and cooling down . Not to mention the condisation that happens from that . Was that hole covered just by carpet?

Stopped on roll bar install and decided not to install it . Did not want to weld or bolt to floor . Car is in too good of shape to do that .

It came from PA then upstate NY and now CT so not bad beside the hack job for the shifter. I got a section of floor from another gbody with the inner bucket seat and console brackets so will be doing some cutting and welding.
