bout got the frame body mounts repaired...
now im faced with this problem... cut out and replacing the floorboards or seal the rust, patch the holes do it at a later date...

Will do. It *should* jus plug in somewhere. Malibu Classics got hood, courtesy & glove box lights standard and it's not shown on my GM wiring diagrams, but it's listed in the options list as part of the auxiliary lighting package, which also includes the dome light time delay.
