ford 8.8/ gm 7.5 hybrid axle... need few more things and its ready to go... pulling the brake hardware of the current axle and few other things...

Bench tested the eaton e locker.. found some manufacture flaws.. talked to the axle guy. Essentialy I can swap over to a detroit true trac and 31 moser spline c- clip axles for another 120 in hard parts
Basic run down
250 housing
350 31 spline axles (250 for gbody 28spline)
450 31 spline carrier(junkyard 31 would be cheaper)
150 gears(included oem ford 28spline)
80 for complete r&p bearing overhaul
80 strange 1350 yoke
820.00 minus custom 31 spline axles and new carrier.
920.00 oem 31spline ford carrier and custom 31 axles
1360 to go 31spline with aftermarket carrier

fab'd up an aluminum plate to mount my cd player in and hopefully tonight finish up the radio, headliner and interior completely.

Looked at it, decided I need to go ahead and swap out the wheels and wash the stinking thing.

Started to remove my windshield that was cracked with one of the removal tools with two aluminum handles and a right angle blade,after removing the excess that was around the windshield with a stanely knife.Do Not Waist Your Money on that type,they just will not cut through the older buytel adhesive that was used.

picked up a motor yesterday from bigbadbu...going to clean it up and hopefully have it in the car by the end of next weekend...is not my big block but I wanted to get the car back on the road and drive it and enjoy the rest of the summer with it.

Order bigger brake master cylinder off a 87 mc for my wagon.
1.417 dia which 61% bigger then the 7/8" that's on there. Should make my brakes A LOT more responsive, and be able to handle bigger calibers in the future.
