Since I work 3rd shift now, I was at the barn at 2:30 this morning, battling hurricane force winds and snow, pulling the battery, carb, and air filters off the 'Bu.... Battery is all charged up, the filters are cleaned and drying, and the carb will be rebuilt tonight. Next weekend is (hopefully) when the parts really start flying.

Yeah he weather seems nice & breezy as of late :shock: I hit some snow after dropping my son off in Owosso tonight.

Got my 100amp 3 wire alternator from DBelectric on ebay today, going to install it tonight along with my stainless steel rear plate bracket from Art

I started the '81 yesterday, for the first time in nearly a year. I looked at the bits and pieces of the '78 and was sad at the impending fact I may have to loosely throw it together and trailer it out to Arizona. That may not be a huge deal since my dad's '38 pickup has to be trailered too, and it's likely going through a transport company.

swapped out the march serpentine system and installed this.

Made my own a/c delete plate out of diamond plate. Next will be taking out the reservoir and windshield washer bottle to clean up the engine compartment and might move the battery to the trunk.

Debating whether to paint it black or leave like this. The 267 will be out of there soon.
