They all do that above the cadilc converter area, because of the heating up and cooling down . Not to mention the condisation that happens from that . Was that hole covered just by carpet?[/quote]

The ac delete plate that is in now is leaking so I'll be making a new one so who knows how long water is been coming in. Yea just the carpet I knew when I bought it would need some work.

Think the hole's big enough?

You can see mine here, I'm hoping I didn't cut out more than the factory steel hump covers.

Oh it's in Michigan, and if it was out here I'd already be driving it. We got snow 1 day a year the past 3 years... and it's above 45-50 probably 350 days out of the year (aka 2 cold weeks). We get maybe a month's worth of rain a year, tops. I could drive the car year round \:D/

I'm jealous ^^
I get a solid 6 months of driving/working on the cars around here. I'd consider moving, as my kids are still young...

Painted my steering column with $4.79 can of spray paint witch happens to be a perfect match for Carmine red.

Got my seats back from Everlast Auto Interiors. These guys do great work. I wanted to have the seats look factory. I think they really captured a 1980 OEM look:
