What did U do to your G-body today??

Going to be using a coupe B pillar, plan at this point to remove the existing C pillar and probably try for a long quarter window. Sometimes you just have to start cutting to see how it all will actually come together...there's just so much planning you can do on paper.

Have been kicking this idea around since 2004, never seemed to have all the right resources at once. Figured if I didn't get started soon, it would never happen.

Luckily, the wagon was essentially a freebie, so not a lot of $$ invested....yet.

Finding a suitable coupe donor is going to be key. Hope to make that happen this week.

If you want REEEALLY big doors, you could graft the baCK of a wagon/sedan door to the coupe door & use a sedan/wagon C pillar. Figuring out the door glass MIGHT pose a problem... LOL

I welded spots after cutting spot welds to get the fender to fit properly with the nose on the passenger side.

Lowered the back of the stocker a little more. Fired up the turbo car to let it run and circulate

Got the turbo 267 car running. It runs well...until I collapsed the brass floats, lol. But this thing boogies!
