If you decide to go with a spool,I have a Strange 33-spline spool for 8.5 10-bolt rearend.I'll take $100-shipped as long you
live in the lower 48 states. If you decide you want it,let me know. Bob

If you're open to the idea of changing your rear brakes then another solution is to install Ford 9" housing ends on your axle tubes and avoid using c-clip eliminators all together. You then simply order your axles with Ford axle bearings and retainer plates installed. Perfect excuse to upgrade to rear disc brakes. :D

I have a customer that's been mid-1.20's 60-foot and high 8.40's/low 8.50's with an 8.5, 33-spline axles, Ford housing ends, spool, 3.73 gear, T/A cover, welded axle tubes, 275 radial, 3,400 pound Nova, mild 540, single fogger, 1.80 'glide. Rear end has been together for 5 - 6 years with no issues.
