I haven't got to drive mine since OCT. I've been super busy with work and just took the trans back out last week the clutch welded to the flywheel. I wouldn't recomend a 4500+ clutch dump in second gear with slicks. I'm waiting on a new clutch to be built.

I have used a 255/60 on mine but when I went to a 28x9 slick I had to trim My 1/4 panel lip. That is with a 8" wheel with 3.5" BS and a stock width rear. The front wheels should be fine.

I would say unbolt the hinge from the door because they are harder to get off the body. They are also hard to line up by Yourself so try and find a helper.

For a $75 454 block I'd give it a try. They sell for $400-500 around here.

Stock heads or stock heads with new valve springs? I would call some of the cam companys and they will recomend a cam.

First thing is the heads it probably has "peanut ports" they don't make good power. If trying to save money find a set of closed chamber heads and reuse your stock short block. Get a aluminum intake and a new cam I prefer solid lifters. I have run a 300 shot on a stock 72 402 with cast pistons...

I don't think the axles or spool will fit. If You want a 8.5 Chevelle rear I can probably find You one.

I probably can get You all kinds of 8.2's for $60 each. The are not near as good as a 8.5 and only a little better than a 7.5. I wouldn't give $200 for 3 of them.

Anything has to be better than stock. A couple of good hard 4 speed shifts and the rear ends shot.

I have used several of the Mr. Roadster wiring harness's from Speedway Motors. They have a 12 and 23 circuit for $149.99 I have used them and never had any problems.

They should go without pulling the frame. If You want it to look like the floor pan hasn't been patched then the complete floor is alot easier.

That what I was thinking it wouldn't fit with the body on the frame. For $800-$1000 maybe I should start doing them.

I have never done one in a Gbody but I have done some 67-69 Camaros. I would guess 500-600 on a Camaro if the interior is out and the subframe bolts will come out. Will it fit without taking the body off the frame? It has to get in there some way.

Moser did have a thing on there website that You put Your cars weight and horsepower in and it would recomend what spline. I looked but couldn't find it. I have 35 spline in mine no problems so far. The Nascar guys have 850HP and use 31 spline axles with cars that 3400lbs.
