The pictures are of a modified one with the side cut off to mount a shifter stick, instead of using the push-in type.

I believe it's for chassis flex so it doesn't put as much force on the master cylinder.

Unless you have the budget to also upgrade the trans (or can keep your foot out of it) you may want to reconsider at the moment. Cleaning the engine compartment like grizwald said will probably be a good starter. I'm guessing you don't have emissions there... if you want to build the 4.3 you...

You should be able to just tighten the bolts up. If the rods are loose I believe you can replace the bushings. The bushings on the shifter end are rubber, grommet-like, so I'm not sure what you could do there.

I thought that was what you meant. You should be able to tighten them up if they are loose.

Anybody have an inkling at whether or not they'd fit a G-Body? It'd be a nice alternative to headers, but the fit looks extremely tight, if even possible. Side-by-side with an F-Body manifold

It will be a '98+ 2wd Blazer/Jimmy only, pickups still had the same basic setup as a G-Body.

What shifter, trans, etc.? It's possible you could get a shifter bracket/rod setup if it's a Hurst.

I e-mailed A1 Electric, and they said the regulators don't use OE motors, but they sell replacements.
