Calling all "manual valve body" members

Anyone running a manual valve body, what shifters are you using? I was told rachet shifters are a PITA with a MVB, and the Hurst Quarter sticks are a good choice.?.

This is for a Street / Strip car.

I have ran the megashifter on manual valve bodies with no problems I don't see what the problem would be......

My buddy said he had a rachet shifter w/ a manual and hated it. (didnt like the way it would shift though the gears (??) :-k
He went with the 1/4 stick and said it worked great.
